Tiger Woods won his fourth Masters in a sudden-death playoff over Chris DiMarco. The tournament is remembered for one of golf's greatest shots: Woods's chip from above the 16th hole, where the ball rolled slowly toward the cup, hung on the lip, then dropped for birdie. DiMarco birdied the last to force the playoff but Woods won on the first extra hole.
