Charl Schwartzel of South Africa won the Masters by birdieing the final four holes, the first player ever to do so. Schwartzel shot a final-round 66 to overtake Rory McIlroy, who had led by four shots entering the final round but collapsed to a closing 80. Jason Day and Adam Scott tied for second.
