Ian Baker-Finch won The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale with a brilliant final round 66. Baker-Finch was inspired and dominated the closing holes. He beat Mike Harwood by two strokes. Tragically, Baker-Finch lost his game almost entirely in the years following his win.
