Tiger Woods won The Open Championship at St Andrews by eight strokes, completing the career Grand Slam at just 24 years old — the youngest player to do so. Woods did not find a single bunker on the Old Course all week. He finished at -19, a record for The Open. Woods wept on the 18th green, thinking of his late father Earl. David Duval finished second with Els at -11.
