The Open Championship
Runner-up: Harris English (-13)
Scottie Scheffler produced one of the most dominant performances in modern Open Championship history at Royal Portrush, finishing 17-under par — four clear of runner-up Harris English — to claim the Claret Jug and complete the third leg of his career Grand Slam. Scheffler joins an elite group including Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, and Gary Player in winning The Masters, the PGA Championship, and The Open before the age of 30. The week was a masterclass in consistency. Scheffler's second-round 64 was the low round of the championship and effectively put the tournament beyond reach. He stumbled briefly with a double-bogey at the 8th hole in the final round, but responded immediately with birdies at 9 and 12 to close out a comfortable 68 and a four-shot victory.
