Collin Morikawa won the PGA Championship in his first major start, holing a wedge shot from the fairway on the 16th hole in the final round to take the lead and win by two shots. Morikawa's ball-striking was exceptional all week and his iron play on the 16th was one of the great shots in PGA Championship history. At 23, he was the first player since Tiger Woods to win the PGA on his debut major appearance.
