Organized by the PGA of America and contested annually since 1916. One of the four major championships in professional golf.

Scottie Scheffler won the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow for his first PGA title, shooting 271 (-17) to win by three shots over Rory McIlroy. Scheffler's combination of distance control, iron play, and putting made him virtually unstoppable on the demanding course. The win added the PGA Championship to his two Masters titles and confirmed his status as the dominant player of his generation.
